WELCOME TO

A place where YOU can find your Glow and Freedom in Therapy –
Because who doesn’t want to shine?

Do you ever find yourself wondering how or why you’re at this point in your life? Maybe you feel stuck in the same routine, overwhelmed by ongoing life challenges, or disconnected from yourself. For many Latinas and First-Gen Women, this can come from carrying cultural expectations, family responsibilities, and unspoken pressures while trying to honor your own needs.

Often, we become so consumed by daily responsibilities, caretaking roles, and survival-mode living that days, weeks, or even months pass before we realize how deeply it’s affecting us — emotionally, mentally, and relationally.

While these moments can feel heavy, they also offer powerful opportunities for personal growth, emotional healing, and self-discovery. I believe mental health services should be accessible, culturally responsive, and supportive — especially for those who were raised to prioritize strength and sacrifice over rest and emotional expression.

Glow In Therapy, Inc. provides online therapy for Latinas and First-Gen Women across California. Through secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth therapy, you can access culturally affirming mental health support from the comfort and privacy of your own space — whether you’re at home, in your office, or anywhere you feel safe.

This is a space where your culture does not need to be explained — it is honored. Together, we focus on strengthening relationships, navigating identity, healing intergenerational patterns, setting healthy boundaries, and cultivating sustainable self-care and self-love practices.

Through our work together, we create a sacred healing space to explore what’s holding you back, gently unpack generational wounds, and develop effective tools to help you thrive — emotionally, relationally, and spiritually. Online therapy allows us to meet you where you are, making healing more accessible and consistent, no matter where you live in California.

You deserve support that sees your full story and fits into your life.

Isn’t it about time you SHINE?

How Can I Help?

Hey there, I’m Gloria Osborne-Sheeler, LCSW — founder of Glow in Therapy, Inc., a therapeutic space created for Latinas and First-Gen Women who are ready to heal, grow, reconnect with themselves, and who are learning how to set boundaries without guilt.

As a bilingual, bicultural Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience, I support women who have spent much of their lives caring for others while quietly putting their own needs last. Many immigrant women carry deep family loyalty, cultural expectations, and emotional responsibility — often leaving little space for rest, self-expression, or boundaries.

I am a First-Generation Afro-Latina from Panamá, and my lived experience deeply informs my work. I understand how hard it can be to choose yourself when you’ve been taught to prioritize family, sacrifice, and strength above all else.

Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to explain your culture or justify your feelings. Together, we work to build self-confidence, strengthen relationships, and navigate life transitions while honoring your roots and reclaiming your voice — sin culpa (without guilt).

As a Latina Relationship Therapist, I integrate culturally responsive, holistic, and evidence-based practices to support your healing in a way that feels authentic and sustainable. It would be an honor to support you as you reconnect with your inner glow and create a life that nourishes you, too.

Mental Health

You may be here because you feel caught between worlds — navigating your own identity while carrying family expectations, cultural values, and unspoken responsibilities. As a Latina or First-Generation Woman, you may have learned to be strong, adaptable, and resilient, often at the expense of your own emotional needs.

As a Latina Relationship Therapist, I prioritize mental wellness and specialize in therapy for Latinas, children of immigrants and first-generation clients who are navigating self-doubt, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. These may include career changes, grief and loss, relocation, and the beginning or ending of relationships.

My approach integrates culturally responsive therapy, holistic practices, and evidence-based mental health treatment to create a supportive space where you can unpack intergenerational patterns, set healthy boundaries, and reconnect with yourself — without guilt or shame.

Your story deserves care, compassion, and understanding. It would be an honor to support you on your healing journey.

Relationships

Relationships are at the heart of our well-being, especially for first-generation immigrants and children of immigrants whose connections are deeply shaped by culture, family roles, and survival experiences. Whether at home, work, or within intimate partnerships, relationships often carry unspoken expectations, responsibility, and generational patterns that can feel difficult to navigate.

Healthy relationships thrive when there is consistent emotional connection, safety, trust, and joy. When these needs aren’t met, we may find ourselves repeating unconscious relationship patterns learned from family systems, cultural norms, and early experiences — not because we are broken, but because these patterns once helped us survive.

As an Imago Certified therapist, I support individuals and couples in moving from unconscious relationship patterns to conscious, intentional communication and connection. Together, we work to improve communication, strengthen emotional intimacy, and create relationships that feel secure, respectful, and aligned with your values and cultural identity.

You deserve relationships that feel supportive rather than draining. Therapy can be a space to heal relational wounds, break intergenerational cycles, and build meaningful connections that honor both your culture and your emotional well-being.

Depression

Depression can feel overwhelming, especially for Latinas and children of immigrants who have learned to push through, stay strong, and care for others before themselves. Depression doesn’t always look like sadness — it can show up as exhaustion, lack of motivation, isolation, or feeling emotionally and mentally “stuck.”

In many immigrant families, mental health struggles are often minimized or misunderstood, which can make depression feel even more isolating. But depression does not define you, and it doesn’t have to take away your glow.

I offer culturally responsive therapy for depression that honors your lived experience, identity, and family dynamics. Together, we develop a personalized treatment plan using evidence-based and holistic approaches to help you manage symptoms, restore emotional balance, and reconnect with yourself — in a way that works for you.

Healing is possible, and you don’t have to navigate this alone.

Anxiety

Anxiety can quietly build over time, especially for Latinas and children of immigrants who have learned to stay alert, responsible, and prepared for what could go wrong. It often shows up as constant worry, racing thoughts, tension in the body, or feeling unable to fully rest — even when everything seems “fine.”

For many in immigrant families, anxiety is rooted in lived experiences such as uncertainty, family responsibility, cultural expectations, or long-standing survival mode. Understanding the root of your fears and worries is an important step toward relief.

I offer culturally responsive anxiety therapy that honors your story and lived experience. Together, we explore the underlying causes of anxiety and develop mindfulness, grounding, and nervous system regulation techniques to help reduce symptoms and restore a sense of calm and control.

You deserve a life that feels steady, present, and aligned — not driven by fear. Healing is possible, and you don’t have to navigate anxiety alone.
