A SPACE TO PUT YOURSELF FIRST
Online Therapy in California
It’s Time to Come Home to Yourself
You’ve always been the strong one—the one everyone depends on.
You learned how to take care of people, keep the peace, push through, and hold everything together. And somewhere along the way, putting yourself last may have started to feel normal.
Now, you might find yourself overthinking everything, feeling guilty when you say no, taking responsibility for other people’s feelings, or giving so much in your relationships that there’s little left for you.
These patterns didn’t come from nowhere. They may have helped you feel safe, loved, needed, or connected at a time when you were simply doing the best you could with what you had.
Therapy can help you understand where those patterns began, reconnect with the parts of yourself you’ve had to put aside, and learn new ways of showing up—without abandoning yourself in the process.
Your story doesn’t have to end where your survival began.

Who I Help
Women Who Are Ready to Choose Themselves, Too
You’ve spent so much time achieving, caring for others, and holding everything together. Therapy can be a space to understand the patterns that keep you carrying so much—and make room for your needs, relationships, and the life you want, too.
High-Achieving Women
You’ve worked hard to build a life you’re proud of, but slowing down can feel uncomfortable. You may put pressure on yourself to do more, get it right, and keep going—even when you’re exhausted.
Therapy can help you step out of perfectionism and overthinking, reconnect with what you need, and create a life that doesn’t require you to constantly prove your worth.
Women Who Carry It All
You’re the one people depend on. You hold the family together, anticipate everyone’s needs, solve the problems, and somehow keep showing up—even when you’re running on empty.
Therapy can help you understand why carrying so much became your role, release the pressure to be everything for everyone, and learn that caring for others doesn’t have to mean carrying them.
Women Who Put Themselves Last
You’re used to considering everyone else before yourself. Saying no brings guilt. Setting a boundary feels selfish. And choosing what you want may feel unfamiliar after years of keeping everyone else comfortable.
Therapy can help you break patterns of people-pleasing and self-abandonment, build healthier boundaries, and start making space for yourself without the guilt.

THE THERAPIST BEHIND GLOW
Hi, I'm Gloria.
As a First-Generation Afro-Latina therapist and proud Panameña, I bring more than 15 years of experience helping women understand the experiences that shaped them, reconnect with themselves, and create healthier relationships—with themselves and the people they love.
You don’t have to keep carrying it all alone. Healing isn’t about becoming someone different—it’s about coming home to yourself.
My approach is warm, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based therapy. We’ll make space for where you come from, what you’ve carried, and who you’re becoming—not just the symptoms that brought you here.
I understand how childhood experiences, family dynamics, cultural expectations, and the roles we learn early in life can shape how we see ourselves and show up in relationships. Together, we’ll explore those patterns with compassion while building greater self-trust, healthier boundaries, and more fulfilling relationships.

Frequently Asked Questions
What You May Be Wondering
Starting therapy can bring up a lot of questions. Here are a few things you may want to know before deciding whether working together feels right for you.

What is therapy like with you?
Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity rather than judgment. You don’t have to show up with the right words or know exactly what you want to work on—we’ll figure that out together.
Our sessions are a space to slow down, make sense of the patterns shaping your life and relationships, and practice new ways of responding to yourself and others. I’ll offer both reflection and practical tools while making room for your culture, experiences, relationships, and the parts of your story that have shaped who you are.
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. You might be feeling overwhelmed, noticing the same patterns showing up in your relationships, struggling to set boundaries, or simply realizing that the ways you’ve learned to cope aren’t working for you anymore.
Therapy can offer a space to better understand yourself, work through what’s keeping you stuck, and create changes that feel meaningful to you. A free consultation can also help us explore what you’re looking for and whether working together feels like the right fit.
What if I've never been to therapy before?
That’s completely okay. You don’t need to know how therapy works or have everything figured out before your first session.
We’ll start by getting to know what brings you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope might feel different. We’ll move at a pace that feels supportive while creating a space where you can ask questions along the way.
How does online therapy work?
Sessions are held virtually through a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, so you can attend therapy from a private space that feels comfortable for you.
I provide online therapy to clients located in California. Before your first session, you’ll receive the information you need to connect virtually.
Do you offer therapy in Spanish?
Yes. I provide therapy in both English and Spanish, and we can use the language—or combination of languages—that feels most natural and comfortable for you.
Do you accept insurance?
I am a private-pay provider and do not bill insurance directly. If you have PPO out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
HSA and FSA funds are also accepted. Coverage and reimbursement vary by plan, so I recommend contacting your insurance provider to confirm your out-of-network mental health benefits.
How often should I attend therapy?
Most clients begin with weekly sessions so we can build consistency and momentum in the work. Over time, the frequency of sessions may change depending on your needs, goals, and progress.
We’ll talk together about what schedule makes the most sense for you.
How do I get started?
Start by scheduling a free 20-minute consultation. We’ll briefly talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’re looking for, and whether my approach may be a good fit for your needs.
If we decide to move forward together, we’ll discuss next steps and schedule your first therapy session.
